Info Institute of Engineering (IIE) is a college with a difference.  The motto of the college is to enable the students not only to make a living but also to help them live a quality life by developing futuristic skills.

The college located in Kovilpalayam (Coimbatore to Sathyamangalam Main Road), is 17 kms from Coimbatore railway station, 15 kms from central bus stand and 13 kms from the airport and has plenty of bus services in addition to the one provided by the college.

The college has a sprawling campus area of 30 acres of unpolluted, serene and quiet land which provides an ideal learning ambience.

Shri. K.K. Veluchamy, B.E. (Hons), partner of Deccan Industries, Deccan Enterprises and Deccanpumps Private Limited., was the Founder Chairman of the Trust. He was an Executive Committee Member in Southern India Engineering Manufacturers Association and Coimbatore Industrial Infrastructure Association.

Shri. P. Arumugam, B.Sc., a fond agriculturist and philanthropist, with model agriculture farms, is a partner of Deccan Industries, Deccan Enterprises and Deccanpumps Private Limited.

Shri.K.V.Karthik, B.E., M.S. after obtaining his degrees from Sheffield University, U.K, has become a partner of Deccan Industries, Deccan Enterprises and Deccanpumps Private Limited.

“Deccan Industries” with the untiring work of Late Shri. K.K. Veluchamy, Shri. P. Arumugam and their team has bagged the following National awards:

“UDYOG PATRA AWARD”
“LOK SHREE AWARD” and
“UDYOG RATAN AWARD”.

Deccan Industries was the first in India to obtain the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) Certification - IS 14220 for Open-Well Submersible Pumps and first in South India, to get BIS Certification - IS 8034.

Shri. C. Gopal, B.E. Hons. and M.E. from the reputed Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, is the Director of Flow Tech Group of Companies, that manufactures Drip and Sprinkler Irrigation equipments, various types of injection moulding components, extrusion of all kinds of plastic pipes & profiles used in textile industry. The Company has received “Quality Production Award” from the Government of Tamilnadu.

Shri. K.S. Palanisamy, B.Com., F.C.A., Chartered Accountant has been in practice for more than 23 years. He is the senior partner of the firm “K.S. Palanisamy & Co.”, Chartered Accountants, Coimbatore. It is a leading firm carrying out audit of corporate, non-corporate and not-for-profit organizations.

The “Chief Mentor of our Trust” is Professor Shri. M.K. Natarajan, M.E. He is a retired Professor of Civil Engineering, having more than thirty five years of teaching experience in various Government Engineering Colleges. His passion for teaching is known from the popular text books he has published namely, “Principles of Fluid Mechanics” and “Fluid Machines”. Other than being a nominated Trustee of Dharbhari Charitable Trust, he is also the Managing Trustee of the Darbari Elders Home, where he offers his dedicated service to the elderly citizens.
